8 LIMBS YOGA CENTERS
Anne Phyfe Palmer founded 8 Limbs Yoga Centers in Seattle in 1996. 8 Limbs is now a family of four neighborhood studios committed to being a supportive and welcoming place to learn and grow through the mind-body practices of yoga. 8 Limbs offers high quality yoga classes, series, workshops, retreats, and Teacher Trainings and employs more than 50 teachers and admin staff.
Anne Phyfe began to teach at the age of 16 at Uptown Health Club in New Orleans – high impact aerobics with lots of high kicks and lycra! She taught though high school and college, then moved to Seattle, where she trained with Kristi Rudolph, and then discovered yoga with Kathleen Hunt, at Physical Culture, a hotbed of creative movement. Two years later (!) she opened 8 Limbs Yoga Centers and has been teaching yoga ever since. Currently she teaches in drop-in classes and in the 8 Limbs 200-hour, 500-hour, and Pre/Postnatal Yoga Teacher Trainings.
The 8 Limbs Teacher Trainings, founded by Anne Phyfe Palmer and Melina Meza, offer certification in 200 and 500 RYT and Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (PRYT). Anne Phyfe is a Senior teacher in all of the 8 Limbs Trainings.
